Greetings everyone. I have decided to start blogging my daily..."Weekly" art doings. Everyone stays connected this way and the ideas out there are awesome. After nearly seven years as the editor of the Mandan News, I have been teaching myself some new techniques, catching up on some new products (and there are tons of them), teaching some classes and enjoying ART again. I hope you join me in my journey. Leave comments, enjoy my photographs and hopefully some creative writing to boot.

To begin with, I was out shooting wildflowers this week for the next issue of the newspaper. Somewhere in my boxes of books, there is a wildflower identification book. When I find it, I will get all that info and the rest of the photos loaded. This is my favorite photo. For those of you who live outside the great state of North Dakota, too bad. It's beautiful here this time of year.
